I made a new website at http://deartstudios.weebly.com/. I am contemplating if it's worth paying for the domain at $3/month or just keep "weebly" in my domain name.
Any suggestions? (and by the way....anyone can add comments now!)

Christmas presents!
Prismacolor coloured pencils on black matboard. These were Christmas presents. :) The colours are much more vibrant in person! I need to learn how to take photos of my work to show the right contrast and colour...

Drawing of someone's dog from a draw!
This is a digital painting I did of someone's dog of a free draw I did on my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ArtOfDe). It helped me study how to paint long fur and I really enjoyed the process. :)

De is still existing!
Hello all! Again I'd like to remind you I haven't disappeared for good! I was going through a loss in the family, but I'm bouncing back up again and I'm hoping to start taking commissions starting in 2013! I'm going to start advertising past Facebook (in the "Real World" even) by posting up posters and maybe getting a spot in the local paper. From what I heard, the best way of getting people to know your work is "word of mouth". :)

Digital Painting
The pricing for digital painting depends on the size and type of print. There are different substrates to print on (such as canvas, photo paper, etc) and each of them are priced differently too. For digital paintings, please give me the size of the print, type of substrate, and what is to be painted. Before I begin painting, I will give you a quote.
Wet Media
This will be offered in the near future! I have to practice my techniques with wet mediums (such as watercolour and acrylic). I will be posting examples of work I do as well.
I specialize in drawing dragons, animals, people, and anime/manga style. I will be offering workshops as well as original art (non-commissioned) in the near future. Please keep an eye out for future posts! :)

Painting Course With Frank Haddock!
I was very lucky to take a beginner acrylic course with a wonderful painter from Edmonton, Frank Haddock! It was a full class of 13 keen artists and everyone did very well! I'm just posting two pictures (I have more, but I rather not show all of the steps...take his workshop if you have the chance!)....
We actually used only three colours (and some white)...red, yellow and blue! I had to make my own black (reminds me of the time in colour theory class at ACAD) I had a lot of fun...I'm probably going to paint even more! :)
