Updated Lava Dragon BG

It was called to my attention that the BG for the "Lava Dragon" looks like it has party streamers all over it. Trying to get more "magma" look to it...Hope it works!

YRAF Dragon BG WIP (?)

Well...it's almost 3am...I really need sleep...but I really really want to finish my artwork! I'm on a rolllllll (envisioning The Rocks "Can You Smellllll" while his tongue wags...yeah I'm a nerd)

I'm quite happy with the outcome of the BG. There's so much you can do with photoshop brushes! AND TEXTURES!!! <3

Going to hopefully finish my Raven and Crow one...or should I finish the dragon?? I DONT KNOW WHEEEEEEE (zzzzz...x_x)

I'm still sick yet I want this done! Like...NOW! rawr.

YRAF Raven and Crow Background

Well I'm sick...and I'm having a hard time breathing...flipped and flopped in the bed like a fish out of the water. Wasn't happening...so I worked on my artwork.

I loooove clouds! I never painted detailed clouds before (maybe once...for my Raven and Crow animated film...)....I used the Bob Ross cloud brush and some other ones I found online. It was fun! <3

The mountains and water ....actually most of this background is from a poster I did for my film, Raven and Crow. I love the blues and greens of it <3 (http://animationut.com/ravenandcrow_concepts.html first two images in the gallery)

So yeah...I -finally- got a concept I like for my dragon submission to YRAF! The finished piece will be tighter as well as more detailed. Ice Dragons rule!

YRAF Raven and Crow Concept 1

Whee! It's the WHEEEE hours of the morning! I've been so addicted to my cintiq...<3 Found out that the place I'm planning to have my YRAF digital artwork print at might not be able to do it afterall. I find out tomorrow if they can or not...their large format printer is out of service and they don't know if it can be fixed. It's out of stock too...boooo. Does anybody know of any other places in Edmonton that print on thick paper? (or canvas ...haven't decide what medium to print on yet)

So I mish-mashed the background a bit for this piece...just with the BG from my Raven and Crow animation poster....I need to work on the sky more...but it is just a concept anyhoo.

Hope I find out specs to actually work on the real thing asap!

Ravens eyes

Well I doodled till the wee hours of the morning again...I'm so bad! ><

I got a little lazy with the feathers...but I really like the ravens face...you can really see the intelligence through her eyes <3

Going to kick my butt into gear and finish my Raven and Crow digital painting by the end of the week! (eek that's only two nights of working on it!) I have an idea on what it's going to be...just gotta do it!

By the way...ravens are indeed my favourite birds. If anyone has a chance to watch BBC's raven documentary...I highly recommend it! :)
